I was balancing my netbook on my lap while fielding friendly banter.

Supplement Update:

Rainy from Animal Essentials, a terrific herbalist, felt strongly that Detox Blend (at double dose) was the way to go. She also thought the mushrooms should be included.

Dr. Weingardt also thought I should use the mushroom supplements - all of them.

Beyond all that is getting them in her. She's having an awful evening. Puking food from a couple days ago (the veggie bits), then later puking water. I'm about to syringe her a little Astragalus tea (with a touch of Dill Seed in it). Tinctures are much easier for this kind of situation because you can get a proper dose in more easily, but that'll have to wait 'til tomorrow when I can pick some up, all I have at home is the dried root so tea it is!

I'd already given her a bit of slippery elm, but that was on top of that stagnant food so it didn't stay down.

I'll need to get tonight's Pred into her (easy enough) and staying down (seems the trick of the evening).

Funny thing, they didn't mention vomit as one of the side effects - even though that's the first thing I think of when I think of radiation poisoning.

Luckily she has tomorrow off. Then back again on Thursday - this time with a vomit report. (like weather reports for regular folks)Margarat Neehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14751485421174752217noreply@blogger.com
